About Us

Susper GbR builds wireless communication channels for companies, local governments, educational institutions and communities. Susper is a company based on a network of developers, consultants, technicians and engineers, who have been building open mesh networks on different continents for many years.

We set up local wireless networks based on open source software tools, open wifi standards and open mesh technology. We provide training to enable the maintenance, support and extension of the mesh network on a local level. We show customers how businesses can profit and develop new income models with local mesh networks.

WHERE WE COME FROM

We come from all over the world, with international backgrounds and different areas of expertise. The foundations of Susper lie in Germany, with people building wireless mesh networks here for many years in cities like Berlin, Leipzig, Weimar, Rostock and Hamburg. Susper was founded by some of the most active people in the German Freifunk free wireless community. As a company organized as a network of trusted partners worldwide Susper is a specialized global company connected through its own communication channels and the internet.

We are curious about new ideas and alternative approaches and we support people taking these ideas into reality. We are working in networks rather than hierarchies. We are a global group working as equal partners to a mutual benefit. We are aiming to minimize the environmental damage of our actions. We are a company not tied to earnings pressures of stock holders. We are dedicated to longterm success and the sustainability of our work.
