Susper Embedded offers more features for your devices

Our research and ideas are already being included in commercial products using OpenWRT. Susper is leading the industry with new innovations in the Susper Embedded firmware based on OpenWRT: self-configuring, self-fixing and self-tuned mesh devices for simple, instant and cost effective wireless communications.

We have developed a feature rich firmware for embedded devices based on OpenWRT Linux adding numerous functionalities for commercial mesh operators and Internet Service Providers (ISPs).

The Susper Embedded firmware offers an operating system independent web interface. Plugins provided include modules for billing and session management for different customers, auto configuration modules (e.g. for autoconfig of IPs), autodeploying modules for firmware updates and modules for statistical data.

The firmware uses the OLSRd mesh protocol (international standard - RFC 3626) maintained by our community in Vienna and Berlin. Other routing protocols can be added through plugins. Further on we provide network tools to monitor the performance of mesh networks. The anonymous data collected here can be viewed by customers on a monitor page available after a personal login on the Susper server.

The Susper Embedded firmware and Susper plugins are available on a commercial license model for local and mobile internet/network devices. OpenWRT Linux is available under the terms of the GPL and can be obtained at http://openwrt.org.
