We introduce you to the technology behind mesh networks and share best practices with you. We show you how to install OpenWRT, the Freifunk Firmware, the routing protocols OLSR and B.A.T.M.A.N. and many other tools.
We show you how to translate our tools into your local language and put you in touch with developers if you want to join the development or would like to provide feedback and bug reports. Problems and questions often arise especially during the first phase of the set up of a wireless mesh network. We will be with you during your first steps and will give you access to a network of experts on a long term basis through participating in our international mailing lists.
